Judith has been practicing as a generalist counsellor for seven years. She came to counselling with experience in many different employment fields ranging from accounting to community corrections. She uses her training in counselling, life coaching, psychology and supervision to offer her clients and supervisees a non judgmental and supportive environment in which they can discuss their issues and explore solutions.
Supporting individuals with disabilities and their families is my passion. I have over 12 years’ experience in the disability sector and believe that a person centred approach to counselling is central to positive outcomes for individuals. In order to do this I utilise different approaches tailored to best support individuals in their journey towards a life full of purpose and meaning. My aim is to empower individuals so that they can flourish and grow. Clients learn the skills they need to meet challenges and have a “road map” of how to navigate those challenges. Learning along the journey how to set goals and strive towards them. Through counselling, coaching and community linking all individuals can realise their goals and determine the steps they need to take to successfully attain them.
