Irene, also known as Boon Pheak, established Learning to L.O.V.E in 2010. Irene is originally from Malaysia, but has spent years in New York, USA, to further her education in health education and religion. Living in three different countries has certainly helped Irene to be more sensitive to different cultures and religion, an attribute which she has found to be very helpful in her counselling approaches.

We all experience times in our lives where we feel confused, sad or frustrated. Circumstances arise giving us a sense that we are out of control; don’t know what to do, how to do it or where to turn to. Well meaning friends and family try to assist by giving advice and support, but often this can be subjective and emotionally charged. We tip the scales the other way, helping you discover your own path to resolving inner turmoil, acknowledging loss and moving to acceptance, identifying coping and problem-solving techniques, self understanding and acceptance.
Red Balloon Counselling offers Therapeutic support for people on the Journey of Grief, Loss & Bereavement & Life Cycle Events. Building a rapport & a trusting relationship with clients is paramount in the Counselling process. Feelings of loss & grief can occur after someone or something we care about dearly is lost. This may be the death of a loved one, or the loss of a job, one's health, a relationship, loss of a pet, or one's possessions or life as it once was.
